Do you wonder if you or your child may have ADHD, autism or dyslexia?
Do you sometimes wonder if you or your child might have attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, or dyslexia? Maybe a teacher, friend, or family member has observed certain patterns, or you’ve noticed different ways that you or your child experiences the world. You’re not alone, and exploring these questions can be an empowering step forward. Whether it’s challenges at school, day-to-day frustrations, or simply a desire to better understand individual strengths and needs, testing can offer meaningful insights to guide your unique journey and help you access support and resources you might need.
Neurodivergent profiles like ADHD, autism, and dyslexia are officially identified and confirmed through a clinical diagnosis. There isn’t a single test that can determine if they are present, but rather, diagnosis is made by gathering as much information as possible and comparing this information to the criteria in the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition) and ICD-11 (International Classification of Diseases, 11th Edition). A experienced clinician then makes an informed judgment about whether the diagnostic threshold is met.
We are excited to offer a variety of engaging and unintimidating computer-based assessment tools for children and adults through the Creyos platform. These provide valuable, detailed information to support the diagnosis of ADHD, autism and dylsexia and help you gain insights, support and resources you might need.
How Does It Work?
Taking a Creyos Health assessment is simple and hassle-free—no fancy gadgets needed. You can use any device you like, such as a laptop, desktop, or tablet. Here’s a quick overview of the steps:
1. We will set up a time for you to do an assessment in-person at our office, or will send you a link via email to complete at a time and space that works for you.
2. Before you start, there will be a short introduction explaining what to expect, how to complete the assessment, and how long it'll probably take.
3. Then you'll go through an interactive tutorial with a task to practice on. Feel free to take a few attempts. Once you're feeling confident that you understand how it works - you're ready to go and will complete the tasks.
4. Once you're done, a report will be ready for you to take to your chosen practitioner for review---if you wish, you can choose to add on a 15-minute consultation with one of our experienced clinicians to discuss your results, diagnosis, and recommended treatments.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Can these assessments take place online as well as face-to-face? Absolutely! We believe our services should be accessible and convenient, and we are delighted to offer ADHD, autism and dyslexia assessments both in-person at our offices and virtually from any device you like, such as a laptop, desktop, or tablet.
How long will it take? Assessments vary in length depending on the number of tasks your practitioner has chosen. A four-task assessment will take roughly 15 minutes, while a full 12-task assessment may take approximately 40 minutes. Before you start, we will let you know roughly how long it'll take.
I feel like I did not do well on my assessment - should I be concerned? You don’t need to be concerned - there is no such thing as “best” for this type of assessment. The tasks are designed to be challenging and to assess your limits by getting increasingly difficult. If you answer some questions incorrectly, that is entirely normal and to be expected. Don’t let it discourage you - keep going and try and engage with each tasks as it comes. Please be aware that this is only a snapshot of your cognition at the moment you are completing the assessment and that cognitive performance tends to fluctuate naturally from day to day depending on many factors (like your sleep quality, stress level, nutrition, exercise regiments, etc.).
How can these assessments support neurodivergent children and adults? At A New Hope Therapy Center we are neurodivergent-affirming and recognize that there can be challenges for children and adults with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia living in a world that was not built for forms of diversity like this. Our hope is that our assessments can help support children and adults towards greater self-understanding and open doors to be able to access to the right support.
